Rabbits are incredible fascinating and intelligent animals with big personalities and a sense of knowing what they want. It is said that bunnies are cute because they resemble the appearance and features of human babies in terms of small size and the fact that rabbits (even adult ones) have also big eyes so maybe that is why so many people choose them for pets.
I’ve made “Madeleine the Rabbit” for such a friend (who is crazy about rabbits), in memoriam of her pet which passed away. I’ve never met Madeleine but painting her made me very happy and proud because this rabbit was very important to my friend and she has the original hanging at the entrance of her house.
