I am a huge fan of uniqueness and because of that I believe Freddie Mercury inspires me the most. Apart from his amazing musical legacy, I’m fascinated with his energy, presence, charisma and drive, therefore he qualifies as one of my heroes. I believe he was a musical genius with an amazing voice. In addition, Freddie wasn't afraid to do what he wanted and to be who he wanted to be, I admire that in a person and it inspires me to do the same.
 
For me his label as “superstar” is not short of his humanity and courage. He was driven to reach his goals, no matter what stood in his way and wanted every show to be perfect just like his music which were arranged in detail. In this painting I’ve tried to capture his energy and flamboyant presence. Freddie was a role model for the artists of this world and demonstrated through his legacy the endurance that fascinating personalities can change the world.
